Biography

I am a postdoctoral fellow of HKUST-BYD Joint Lab. I received my Ph.D. Degree in ECE from HKUST in Dec. 2025. I was a Ph.D Candidate at GrUVi Lab of Simon Fraser University from Sept. 2019 to Jan. 2023. My supervisor is Ping Tan.

My research interest includes 3D vision, deep learning and video coding.

Research Interns Wanted

I am currently recruiting research interns to work on feed-forward 3D foundation models and scalable reconstruction (e.g., SAIL-Recon and Glob3R), scene generation integrated with 3D reconstruction (e.g., ReconPlusGen, GenRecon, and T3lescope), and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for surface reconstruction and rendering (e.g., GGGS).
